Day trip to Atherton TablelandsFull Day![]() Take a day tour or drive yourself. Head for Yungaburra, Tinaroo Dam and the Crater Lakes. Driving there you get a taste of outback Australia, around Mareeba, then driving into green hilly pasture land. Around Mareeba there are coffee plantations and you can visit one of the Coffee outlets to learn all about roasting coffee and the way to drink it. The Atherton Tablelands; the giant fig trees, visit a dairy and learn about cheese making, cruise the Crater Lakes - the options are endless. You will have a great day!

Mossman Gorge and Mossman River![]() Mossman Gorge Visitors Centre is worth a visit. At Mossman Gorge are the guided Dreamtime Walks, your guide will be a local Indigenous person, fun, interesting and informative. Why not visit Silky Oaks Lodge, a beautiful Lodge nestled in the rainforest, for lunch and a swim after. |
