The fayre offered is delicious breakfasts and lunches and local Four Mile Roasters blended coffee. Open days a week this is a great location for anyone staying at Four Mile Beach location (5 minute walk from the Four Mile shops) or take the Bally Hooley train (also pet friendly) and enjoy Choo Choo’s at the end of your destination.
Choo Choo’s is particularly dog friendly with dog bowls for a thirsty dog and even doggy treats for sale.

Café Fresq serves all day breakfast (their eggs benny and roast veggie salad are to be recommended) lunch and a kids menu. Built in 1878, The Central is the oldest pub in Port Douglas and is indeed very central! The Central has three bars, the front pavement bar, the lounge bar upstairs and the large back area bar. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor pavement section, where there are water bowls placed for not only visiting dogs and those passing by.
The Central Hotel is the place to watch sporting events on their giant screen, see live bands, where there is live music almost every day of the week. There is a restaurant, pool table, pokies and Keno. If you want to sit and have a drink and catch up with your friends on Facebook they even have a wireless internet hotspot.

The Courthouse Hotel or affectionately know locally as “The Courty” is the most iconic pub in Port Douglas, if not Australia. Overlooking Anzac Park and the Coral Sea beyond this heritage Queenslander building has a charm that attracts locals and visitors alike.
There are many dining and drinking areas available on the ground and first floors. If you are bringing your doggy friend then the main area downstairs next to the street is a perfect place for you to imbibe whilst your dog can have a rest. The management are happy for you to have a dog in these areas as long as they are kept on a leash.
The Courthouse Hotel offers live music 5 nights a week, TAB facilities, pokies and an upstairs verandah bar where you can watch the sunsets.

Hi Tide is located in a prime oceanfront location overlooking the waving palms and golden sands of the iconic Four Mile Beach. Boasting its place as the only licensed restaurant in Port Douglas that overlooks Four Mile Beach, this is the prime place to bring your pooch and enjoy the ocean breeze over a cocktail (sea breeze or sundowner cocktails optional).
There are a variety of dining options, from breakfast to lunch and dinner menus (from fennel spiced pork belly to home made potato gnocchi with pecorino crumb).
They are happy to produce food to meet any specific dietary requirements and HiTide is one of the few restaurants that are open every day of the year.

Hemingways Brewery is a microbrewery, bar and restaurant located at the Reef Marina and overlooking the array of yachts and luxury vessels moored at the Marina.
Dogs are allowed on the boardwalk seating area, so you can sit in this relaxed vibe whilst sampling their hand crafted beers – “My Wife’s Pal”, “Hard Yards” and “The Prospector” to name a few. If you are not sure which one you would like they offer a taster paddle so you can taste them all before making up your mind!
With a smoker on the deck you can feast on full chicken wings brushed with BBQ sauce – just make sure you have extra napkins! Other specialities include popcorn chicken accompany it with their sweet potato fries - delicious.
