Free Sailing at the Yacht Club
Every Wednesday, the Wednesday Afternoon Gentleman Sailing group at the yacht club meets and will provide you with a sail around the inlet & Coral Sea free of charge. It’s a great way to experience a little bit of life at sea, without spending a lot of time on a long seafaring journey. The skippers will be more than willing to show you and yours a great time on the waves in a beautiful boat!

Experience the flying foxes
Port Douglas is home to a large colony of flying foxes. Just before sunset, you will be able to see the flying foxes- a breed of bat- circle in the sky. This unique experience will bring you closer to nature in an amazing way.

Visit Stinger Park to watch the boats come back to shore
Stinger Park (Rex Smeal Park) is a great place to bring a picnic lunch in the afternoon. While you enjoy your snack or meal, you can watch the beautiful boats come back in to the harbor.
