The Daintree Rainforest is the undisputed oldest Rainforest in the world dating back to 160 million years ago. Situated only 40 minutes north of Port Douglas some of the best experiences can be had. The Daintree is a 'must do' if visiting Port Douglas. We recommend taking one of the tours but you can hire a car and self drive.
