Cape Tribulation is approx 90 mins from Port Douglas / plenty of stops along the way though / Stop where ever you see hire cars or buses parked up in group - general rule. Everything is on that stretch of road.
Things to look out for:
• Alexandra Lookout (just after Daintree Crossing 40 mins from Port
• Thornton’s Cafe by the Beach
• Board Walk (aboriginal name - should be cars out front - on right on way up - about 30 mins short of Cape Trib)
• Daintree Discovery Centre (about $30 bucks each - very good - full tour for the keen 60 mins - food average)
• Daintree Ice Cream Factory (20 mins short of Cape Trib approx) Better to do Ice Cream Factory on way back - great ice cream.
• Water Holes (ask the locals)
• Cape Tribulation / PK's Jungle Village / decent meals and beer (won't miss it - walk down to beach - Cape Tribulation Beach)
• There is other stuff as well keep your eyes out for signs - well signed.
