Solar Eclipse Marathon 14 Nov 2012

Steve Monaghetti, event ambassador, has marked this event a MUST DO for all adventure marathon competitors. On November 14 in 2012 in Port Douglas, 2,000 competitors will start the race at the re-emergence of the sun from behind the moon, making the Solar Eclipse Marathon the first ever event to have an Intergalactic Starting Gun.

2012 Total Solar Eclipse Festival

14 November 2012 brings a total solar eclipse over the Port Douglas peninsula. Thousands are expected to gather to witness the unique phenomenon. A 2-3 day festival will be organised to entertain the spectators.
