Two charged over attack

Port Douglas Road
Police are wanting information on who destroyed a roundabout on Port Douglas Road.

Mossman CIB's Trevor Perham has confirmed that two Mossman males in their late teens have been charged over an incident which left Matthew Manns with a broken jaw which required surgery.

One of the alleged offenders has been charged with unlawful assault while the other has been charged with grievous bodily harm.

They have been released on bail and will appear in Mossman Magistrates Court at a later date.

A major roundabout on Port Douglas Road has been damaged after a car repeatedly drove around the grassed area tearing it up in the process. If anyone has information as to who is responsible please contact Policelink on 131444 or Port Douglas Police on 4087 1999.
