Sun 4:25pm  NEWS BRIEF: Students continue to interview businesses, council officers, representatives and residents for the revitalisation of Port Douglas initiative. The 35 students go home this afternoon to begin their Masters project. Results are expected to be delivered in 2 - 3 months.

Sun 4:00pm NEWS BRIEF: The trees lining entrance into Port Douglas have received a much needed grooming by mother nature over the weekend. All around there is evidence of the mini low pressure system that formed over the peninsula.
