The FUSION 2011 concert will be the last for Bodies in Motion principal Prue Borzi.

After starting with just 48 students in 2001, the school and its annual dance spectacular is now a prominent event in the shire that many locals look forward to every year.

Prue is extremely proud of all her students, and is so humbled to see her students move on to professional training and dance careers.

Past and present students, Marcus Carne, Tahlia Burchill, Saskia Turner, Tamika Pitt and Sena Fujiwara have all been accepted into professional dance training courses and some have been offered dance contracts with various dance companies.

Prue is looking forward to her final concert as principal of Bodies in Motion Dance School. With a cast of over 140 students "FUSION" will treat the audience to a vast array of dance styles and
genres. With guest performances from Saskia and Tamika, fresh from their training in Brisbane.

"As of 2012 I will be passing on the pointe shoes to the very talented and wonderful teacher and dancer, my protégé, Miss Saskia Turner," Prue said in a letter to her students and her parents.

"Over the years it has grown from two afternoons a week and 48 students to at times over 250 students. In that time I estimate I have taught close to 2000 students from our area.

"There have been very tough times, but also some very wonderful times. Nothing can compare to the exhilaration, excitement and of course pride that I feel seeing my students succeed.

"Playing a role in developing not only their dance skills, but also their social, mental and self-esteem, is extremely rewarding and I thank you all for allowing me to be a part of this."

The FUSION concert is on 9 and 10 December from 7pm at the Glade, Sheraton Mirage. Tickets are available online at www.cimotion.com.au.

Prue has been an absolute asset to our community and a great role model to the kids of our shire. She will be sadly missed however her family will be ecstatic to have her back after all these years of teaching late nights and weekends! Thanks Prue we wish you well!
