Sheraton recognised for service

The Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas Resort is one of the “Top 5 Resorts for World’s Best Service for 2011” according to a global vote conducted by Travel and Leisure magazine and published in their June edition.

"This award is testament to the dedication and loyalty of our wonderful team of associates here at the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas,” said Lachlan Walker, General Manager of Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas.

“We are very proud of the warm, friendly and efficient tropical North Queensland service offered here at the resort, and so honoured to be in this prestigious group of top 5 resorts being recognised as ‘Worlds Best Service for 2011’."

The Sheraton Mirage has recently been in the spotlight since developer David Marriner and an unnamed Chinese investor purchased the property for $35 million.
