Santa pays early visit to The Marina

Father Christmas was in residence at The Meridien Marina in Port Douglas between 10am and 2pm last Friday (Dec 18) just to get all the children excited about his more important visit on the 25th.

Apparently he was checking out who was naughty or nice and making sure that those who were naughty knew exactly what they had to do for the last week before Christmas to get back on the right track.

Each child who met him got an early little pressie and they had their photo taken by Ports favourite artist, Davvyd Brown with his birds Henry and Nancy muscling in on the act. 

Even Doug with assistants Chelsea and Tara from TPDD got to sit on Santa's lap and make a wish.  Tara and Chelsea didn't reveal what they had wished for but Santa was looking very pleased with himself after their visit.  He's only used to granting little boys and girls their wishes not the big kids!

Editors comments: Every year I always think Christmas is here when I see my first Santa, so I guess that's it...let the party begin !
