New Jetstar flights for Cairns

According to Travel Today's latest online newsletter, Jetstar are introducing twenty two additional weekly services out of Cairns, with the relaunch of a direct international Cairns to Osaka, Japan, A330 service and extra domestic flights between Cairns and Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.

From Thursday April 1, Jetstar will introduce a four times weekly direct service between Cairns and Osaka, and between now and April 1 it will add 18 additional domestic flights from Cairns.

Editors Comments: Now that's the kind of news I love reporting. Let's hope we haven't miffed too many Japanese with the 'caged kangaroo' debacle and they take advantage of the extra flights.

Hi Newsport,
I am travelling on the inaugural Jetstar flight to Osaka on Sunday 4th and will be the guest of Skal International Osaka, likewise 8 of their members arrive on the inaugural Osaka/Cairns flight on Friday morning 05:10 and I will host their stay in Cairns/Port Douglas for 2 days.
Will supply you with some great pics when I get back. (Cherry Blossom time) will be spectacular.

cairns council better clean up the beach then word from tourists is it looks disgusting ,always used to be beautiful when under port council
