MasterChef visits Port

: Poh Ling Yeow cooks up a storm for her new series of 'Poh's Kitchen'.

MasterChef season one Runner-Up, Poh Ling Yeow, was in Port Douglas yesterday filming an episode of her cooking show 'Poh's Kitchen.'

The popular chef known for her artistry on the plate, is in town as she makes her way around Australia as part of season two of her ABC series.

The Surf Life Saving Club was the location for the Port Douglas leg of her tour, and fittingly the key ingredient she was working with was the iconic food of the tropics, the coconut.

After finishing MasterChef Poh has also secured herself a two-book deal with Harper Collins.
