The profile of the Port Douglas fishing scene will be lifted considerably, thanks to a deal struck between Line Burner and Coles Supermarkets across the country.

After a painstaking process, the Line Burner DVD has now been accepted into the Coles Supermarket chain Australia wide, and is currently available in the Port Douglas store thanks to the support of our local manager Jason Smith.

"His involvement has been paramount to this DVD series which promotes the local region," said Line Burner creator, Lynton Heffer.

"The next step is to stock the stores in Cairns down to Townsville and then beyond. This is on top of great local sales plus the affiliation of the Australian Fishing Network who are pushing the product on a National level."

The DVD contains footage of a wide variety of fishing; game fishing, heli fishing, reef fishing, and mud crabbing to name a few. The DVD also features characters, myths, legends and cooking segments.

"Series Two is due out by Easter, and with a dedicated and very achievable plan to reach Pay TV in the near future we have cameras rolling seven days a week and are very much on the front foot," he said.
