Jazz just the ticket at Tanks

: Katie Noonan and Vince Jones will be performing at Tanks Arts Centre next week.

The Tanks Arts Centre in Cairns will host two of the country’s most highly revered vocalists next Friday night 11 March.

Known as Australia's leading jazz vocalist, Vince Jones will team up with Katie Noonan of Brisbane group 'George' fame and an eight piece band to launch the fifth annual Jazz Up North series.

The Tanks Arts Centre is a favourite venue for Port Douglas residents and regularly hosts some of Australia's best musicians.

The ever-popular folk and blues band, The Waifs, have already sold out their 24 March show at the Tanks after taking a two-year break from a famously rigorous touring schedule.
