There is still time to register for the Mayor’s Charity Golf Day which will be held at the picturesque Half Moon Bay Golf Club at Yorkeys Knob on Friday 6 May.

Supporting Meals on Wheels Cairns and Mossman, the event will be a four-person Ambrose over 18 holes with a shotgun start.

“This is an opportunity to be involved in one of the best corporate golf days in the Far North and to support Meals on Wheels, which is a truly valuable volunteer service that helps so many local people,” Cairns Regional Council Mayor Val Schier said.

“The day provides a great opportunity to get out of the office or workplace with a few colleagues for a team-building activity, while getting some exercise, enjoying our stunning environment and supporting a hardworking charity.”

The day will start with a sumptuous champagne brunch, thanks to Ochre catering, and there will be a range of prizes on offer, including international flights courtesy of United Airlines.

There will be giveaways for all golfers and entertainment provided throughout the day.
