Free Mulch Giveaway - 4 days only!

The council have advised us that from tomorrow, 11 Dec until Monday 14 Dec 2009 they are giving mulch away absolutely free until stocks run out at both Killaloe and Newell Beach transfer Stations.

Mulch is 'green' (not cured) and may still contain active ingredients. Council makes no guarantee concerning mulch quality.

Killaloe Transfer Station is open Mon-Sat (8am-5:30pm), Sun (9am-5:30pm) and Newell Beach Transfer Station is open Mon & Fri (7am-noon), Wed (noon-6pm), Sat (7am-6pm).

This offer is open only to the domestic residents and they can only use cars, utes and/or trailers and light trucks (max GVM 4 tonnes) for collection. Council staff will assist with loading vehicles using appropriate mechanical equipment.

So if you're planning some gardening over the Christmas break, this is the perfect opportunity to get mulching !
