Crazy Dragon Gourmet Foods, a local manufacturer of Asian-inspired finger food, last week exhibited their creations at the International Fine Food Fair and awards at the Sydney Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Up against products from all over the world, Crazy Dragon took our the runner-up prize in the Best New Product category for their Chocolate, Banana and Honey Tropical Spring Roll.

This is the third time in four years that the local manufacturer have achieved this accolade.

"It has been a real team effort and loads of thanks and appreciation has to go to the hard work and dedication of the local Port Douglas and Julatten community and the commitment of Barramundi Gardens where all the products are made," said Crazy Dragon's Vicki Kurth.

"Without their continued support and hard work none of this would have been possible. This is such a fabulous achievement for Tropical North Queensland."

Crazy Dragon now deliver six lines of their product onto the shelves in all Woolworth and Safeway Stores Australia wide.
