Council's Christmas operating hours

Mossman Administration Centre: Will be closed on Thursday December 24 from 2pm, reopening at 8:30am Monday 4 January 2010

Animal Control: Animal control officers will be on call throughout the Christmas and New Year period. Mossman Pound will be open by arrangement only. Phone 4099 9444 or 1800 070 444.

Mossman Library: Will be closed on Thursday December 24 from 2pm reopening on Tuesday 29 December. Libraries will also be closed on 1 January 2010.

Mossman Swimming Pool: Closed 25, 26 December and 1 January 2010.

Daintree Ferry: On Christmas Day, the ferry will operate from 7:30 - 10:30am and 2:30 - 5:30pm. On all other days of the festive season, the ferry will operate under normal scheduled hours.

Garbage & Recycling Waste Collection: No disruption to normal collection days for garbage and recycling waste disposal. Waste transfer stations will be closed on Christmas Day.  On all other days for the festive season the transfer stations will be open under normal scheduled hours.
