Award votes counted - Got your tickets?

Voting for the 2011 Port Douglas Magazine Business awards is closed, votes have been counted and the winners’ names locked in a vault until the big awards night on Friday, October 21.

5160 votes have been received from 25 countries, including the UK, Europe, Asia, South America, Hawaii, New Zealand and Australia.

More than 100 businesses and individuals are in the running for the service excellence awards and this year’s event is tipped to excel last year’s big night on the red carpet.

It’s Port Douglas’ “night of nights”, complete with a walk up the red carpet, flashing camera bulbs, live music, a three-course meal and flowing bubbly, so get your tickets and glam up.

The awards ceremony and gala cocktail event will be held upstairs at the Sunset Balcony of the Meridien Marina (The Newsport offices) from 6pm.

Tickets are $75 each ($65 for Port Douglas Chamber of Commerce members) and are available here.
